Art on Screen

The Lyric Theater's mission is to bring the finest of art and culture to the heart of downtown Wooster. We are fortunate to partner with institutions of the first rank, each sharing our conviction that a community like ours deserves nothing less than cultural excellence. Through National Theatre Live, we bring the most celebrated productions of London's West End to our screen, filmed with extraordinary care so that Wooster audiences might feel nearly as close to the stage as those in London itself. Through the Metropolitan Opera's broadcast series, we welcome the grandeur of that storied stage into our own theater. And through our participation in Exhibition on Screen, we are honored to share what we consider the finest documentary filmmaking on art and art history to be found anywhere. It is our privilege to bring these experiences home to Wooster.
