The new Lyric Theater will be a cornerstone of a downtown arts and culture district, an economic driver bringing visitors to the area, and a welcoming space of conversation and discovery. The renovated theater will bring entertainment to our thriving downtown, with a programming model that includes film, music, and more: classic movies, independent features, children’s favorites, documentaries, and foreign films; live music, comedy, community events, and private rentals; youth education and a destination for Ohio filmmakers. The Lyric Theater in Wooster, Ohio is seeking motivated individuals to join our team. Due to alcohol service, you must be 21 years or older to apply.

Responsibilities
- Customer Service:
- Greet guests and provide friendly assistance.
- Answer questions about showtimes, tickets, and theater policies.
- Resolve customer complaints or concerns professionally.
- Tickets and Concessions:
- Operate cash registers to sell both tickets and concessions.
- Prepare and serve food and beverages.
- Restock supplies and maintain cleanliness in the concession area.
- Theater Ushering:
- Direct guests to the correct theater and assist with seating.
- Monitor auditoriums during screenings to ensure a positive experience.
- Enforce theater policies, including those related to noise or disruptions.
- Custodial Duties:
- Clean theaters between showings, including picking up trash and vacuuming.
- Maintain cleanliness in restrooms, lobbies, and other public areas.
- Ensure trash is removed and disposed of properly.
Section3
The Lyric Theater will be serving alcohol. Due to this all employees must be over the age of 21. We will also require that, upon being hired, all employees complete free Alcohol Server Knowledge Program provided by the Ohio Investigative Unit. It is necessary for all employees to be aware of Ohio’s laws regarding alcohol sales, and their responsibilities as a cashier.
